Outreach360 volunteers are the heart of the organization and donors are the life-blood. Our beneficiaries are the children and communities where we are serving.
The Outreach360 2030 vision is to continue to grow and Release the Hero Within our students, volunteers, and donors. By 2030, we will be serving in 10 countries, in 54 communities within those countries, teaching 15,000 students, and have 1000 Adelante Plus students enrolled in our work-study program pursuing a college degree. It is going to take growth in the Outreach360 volunteer program as well as our donor program, and we are committed to making it happen!
We focus all of our work and programs on sustainable development practices
- All programs are developed through community voice
- We do not do work that the community can do themselves
- Actively seek to involve the community in our programs
- A focus on “serving”, not “helping”
- All programs/projects move us closer to our vision – no “make work”
Some of the success stories
This was one of the greatest experiences of my life. It not only changed how I saw people, but how I saw myself. It was so fun and amazing and would recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy life!Audrey Welsh, Maine
The highlight was teaching the children! They were so loving and cute and eager to learn. It was also super cool to experience the culture of the Dominican Republic, it was very different than anything I have experienced before. Do it! It was one of the coolest and most memorable experiences of my life.Casey Jobe, Sugar Bowl Academy
The highlight was just being able to really be thrown into the culture. We got to learn about the history and culture of Nicaragua, we even got to learn Latin dance! The most amazing thing though was being able to see how excited all of the children were to see you, and their desire for learning was evident.Victoria Lott, First Church of Nashua
I have volunteered with Outreach360 four times and each time I feel like I learn something new. Outreach360 and the children it serves have taught me about the meaning and impact of service, about gratitude and leadership, about passion and love. The smile on the faces of the children as they explore the value of learning are what brings me back to Outreach360 time after time. I always leave feeling as is I have received from the kids even more than I gave to them.Anna Boyd, Saint Stephens Episcopal School
Outreach360 continues being a wonderful and powerful program. I love that my students get a different perspective of life and that they do not only teach ¨English¨ to the kids from Jinotega, but the kids from the Learning Center also teach them valuable life lessons.Mariangela Asato, Seabury Hall School
