Rich Siegel, Board President
Rich is the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of H.I.G. Capital since. He is responsible for all of the firm’s legal, regulatory and compliance matters worldwide. Rich received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and earned a B.S. in Finance from the University of Maryland. Rich and his family have joined Outreach360 on three different trips. Rich lives in south Florida, and is an active volunteer in his community.
Laura Dennison, Past President
Laura Dennison is a Doctor of Audiology and President of Audiology Associates of Georgia. She has been involved with Outreach360 since 1996 and has been on the board since 1998. Because of her work with Outreach360 she founded Hearts for Hearing which provides hearing aids for people without resources in the Dominican Republic. She is also Past Chair of the National Board for Certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences and is on the board of the Aurora Theatre. She is also past President of the Duluth Rotary Club. She has been married to Wendell since 1977 and has two grown children, Will and Katy.
Tom Eklund – Corporate President/CEO
Tom lives in Peoria, AZ, and manages the Outreach360 program his home. Tom has an industrial engineering degree from Arizona State. Prior to founding Outreach360 (formerly Orphanage Outreach), Tom worked for IBM in engineering and sales.
Nancy Toolan, Board Secretary/Treasurer
Nancy Toolan has been involved with Outreach360 since 1996 when she went on her first trip to Monte Cristi. Since that time, she has participated in over 10 mission trips to Monte Cristi including being a team leader in the spring of 2011. She also participated in the first mission trip to Jinotega, Nicaragua in July 2010. Nancy retired in 2007 after a 28 year career with the Federal government. She began her career with the Government Accountability Office in Atlanta then transferred to the US Agency for International Development’s Office of the Inspector General in 2001. Nancy spent the last 5 years prior to her retirement as the Regional Inspector General in Dakar, Senegal, evaluating and reviewing various government projects in West Africa. She now lives in Orlando, Florida.
Samina is an Associate Professor at the D’Amore-McKim School of Business, Northeastern University. Previously, she taught at Boston University and was a software engineer at Hewlett Packard. Sarim and her family have volunteered with Outreach360 in both the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. Samina has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, an Ed.M. in education from Harvard University, an M.A.E. in economics and Ph.D. in business strategy, both from the University of Michigan.
Michele first participated on an Outreach360 trip in 1996, and has been a board member since 1998. Michele is a professional film producer and lives in southern California. She has her B.A. in French Literature and Economics from Wells College.
JB Wolcott is a Spanish instruction at St. Stephen’s Episcopal School in Bradenton, Florida. He is also the school’s cross country coach. JB has been leading St. Stephen’s service-learning teams to join Outreach360 each year since 2012. JB has his BA degree from Princeton University and his Masters in Education from Harvard University.
